Experimental Quantum Physicist
Translating theoretical quantum mechanics into scalable hardware. Specializing in quantum networks, faint-light communication and quantum biophotonics.
Research Highlights
Quantum Error Correction & quantum rceivers
Developing error-tailored architectures using single-shot quantum measurement accuracy estimates. Recently demonstrated a record 40 dB improvement in error correction efficiency below classical limits. DOI:10.1116/5.0164396
Quantum Sensing & Biophotonics
Led the development of a single-photon sensitive Quantum Flow Cytometer for rapid biomarker detection. This project was awarded as a Stage 1 Winner in the NIH Quantum Sensing Technology Challenge.
Metropolitan Quantum Networks
Pioneering the implementation of the DCQ-net across the Washington D.C. area, achieving entanglement distribution over deployed 100+ km fiber links utilizing advanced phase-stabilization techniques.
Super-Resolution Imaging (S-RIPE)
Invented Super-Resolution Imaging via Photon Enumeration. Leveraging photon-number-resolving measurements to bypass classical diffraction limits for highly sensitive imaging applications.
Interactive Web Tools
Bridging hardware and software, I develop browser-based applications to advance open science in quantum optics. Leveraging C, C++, and Python via WebAssembly and Pyodide to bring intensive computational tools directly to researchers.
